Clogged Drain in your Cecil County home? What do you do when home remedies fail?
Every once and awhile a tub or sink drain will clog. Or maybe it is your dishwasher that has decided to overflow because the drain is clogged. Sometimes its as simple as hair being stuck down the sink drain, which normally you can solve with simple home remedies.
Elkton Plumbing – How to clean a clogged drain
Vinegar and hydrogen peroxide will usually work. So will vinegar and baking soda. If your drain is clogged by grease, as well as something else, add a combination of salt and boiling water to the mixture. Keep your drain clear by mixing baking soda, salt, and cream of tartar together. Add a small amount to the drain, and then pour in a cup or two of boiling water. The best part of this home remedy is that there is no odor. It is also not poisonous and corrosive like commercially available drain cleaners.
Hopefully the above remedy has cleared your drain, without the need for those nasty smelling drain cleaners. Unfortunately though, when even the best home remedy fails.
